Operation and Features

This part is typically used as a restrictor device on Scandinavian profile windows and is surface mounted and visible. The restrictor limits the clear opening of the window sash, whilst also complying with Building Regulations for windows for escape or rescue.  No key or specialist tool is required to dis-engage. In operation, the arm of the lock bar engages in the receiver plate. The max opening is the length of the bar. This restrictor offers a dual function, it limits the opening section of the window and with its three vent settings also prevents the sash from blowing closed.

This restrictor can be used on top and side guided windows.
